Joan Russell is a dynamic speaker, certified ICF coach, and former corporate senior executive specializing in leadership, change management, and transformation.

Drawing from her experiences in corporate leadership and coaching, Joan empowers individuals and organizations to navigate life and work transitions with clarity, resilience, and purpose. She blends practical strategies with deep insight to guide others through moments of uncertainty into aligned, confident action.

Before founding her coaching and strategy firm, Intuitive North, Joan spent over 20 years in the corporate world. She began her career in entertainment at studios like Disney and NBCUniversal before moving into the inflight entertainment industry where she led multimillion-dollar accounts for global brands including United Airlines and Southwest. A near-death experience later sparked a profound personal transformation, leading Joan to shift her focus toward helping others use change as a powerful catalyst for growth.

Her holistic approach integrates mindset, embodiment, and strategy -- drawing from tools such as the Enneagram, Life Design, Clifton Strengths, and mindfulness -- to create customized paths forward.

Joan is known for her signature talk, "Get Cozy with Change," which explores how discomfort can be a gateway to growth. She teaches audiences to reframe fear, embrace identity shifts, and build resilience in the face of personal, professional, and societal change.

In addition to coaching and speaking, Joan is the founder of The Leap Lounge, an in-person support group and upcoming online membership platform designed to support individuals taking a leap from one chapter of life to the next. Her work has inspired individuals across the country to take bold steps toward their goals.
