Carlee Carranza is a board-certified emergency physician who currently serves as the Chair and Associate Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Corona Regional Medical Center. She was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Iona College, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree and played Division I lacrosse.

She attended medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in emergency medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center.

After residency, she pursued a fellowship in Emergency Administration with Emergent Medical Associates and obtained her Masters in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She currently serves as the Director of Wellness and Innovation and CME Editor with EMA.
